The Dixon Mower has been manufactured in USA for 35 years by Dixon Industries. The factory is based in Beatrice, Nebraska in the heart of the American mid-west.

ZTR Mowers Ltd are the New Zealand importer of the Dixon ride-on lawnmower range. We are well established and have been successfully supplying Dixon mowers, accessories and parts throughout the country since 1987.

Dixon mowers are very manoeuvrable. Speed and directional control are provided by the use of two levers. This unique and easy-to-use drive system gives the operator the ability to mo w the sharpest corner or around the smallest tree without backing up or gear changing.

We call this characteristic Zero Turning Radius (ZTR) and it's achieved through two oil powered hydrostatic drive units independently driving each rear wheel. This incorporated with front castor wheels give a zero turning radius.
